Where to stay in Tokyo (for >1 month)

If you are lucky enough to have a very long vacation and/or work remotely, you should definitely check out serviced apartments in Tokyo. I wrote an overview of how we narrowed it down here. Now that we are here, I can say I really love Atago Green Hills Forest Tower. Minoto city is fairly quiet, but still has all the amenities. Wifi is fast - no issue with zoom/teams video for work.

Some bonuses:

  1. We have the spa access which includes gym, pool, and sauna facilities (nicer than most Lifetime fitnesses in the U.S.). The gym space is smaller, but we can go to any of the ‘Hills Spa’ facilities that we want. We will check those out and give an update later.

  2. We get breakfast every day - this includes the typical eggs and meats, yogurt (including soy) and cereals, amazing croissants and other baked goods, some fruit, and a salad bar. Hits all the good stuff for me - particularly the salads/pickles.

  3. Cleaning 2x per week. This includes replacing linens, tp, and taking out the fairly complex trash/recycling system.

  4. Package delivery. The front office can accept packages and mail for us - they can also help with translation needs.
